Sabor de Oaxaca

Dates Oct 31 to Nov 8, 2026 Where Oaxaca, MX Format Medium format only Status Booked and paid

Nine days shot on medium format only, from the candlelit panteones of Día de Muertos to the palenques of mezcal country to a secluded house on the Pacific coast. Available light, real people and real places, no sets and no studio.

The work happens regardless. I am inviting a small number of brands to travel inside it: placement in the story, dedicated product frames on location, and a licensed set of finals, one brand per category.

Every frame of Sabor is made on Fujifilm GFX or Hasselblad. One camera partner owns that fact: the entire campaign shot end to end on your body, credited in every caption and every delivery, with behind the scenes of the system working nine straight days in festival crowds, mezcal smoke and salt air.

    Oaxaca City
Oct 31 to Nov 2 · Día de Muertos. Comparsas after midnight, panteones lit by candle and cempasúchil, sugar skull faces at blue hour.
  • 02
    Valles Centrales
Mezcal at the source. Agave piñas stacked to the roof, earthen ovens, copper stills, smoke in hard light. Portraits of the hands that make it.
  • 03
    The Pacific Coast
Santa María Tonameca. A brutalist retreat between cactus scrub and empty sand. Slow frames and salt air after the loudest nights of the year.
